Too Cool (The EQ Remix)

This is our November 2024 single release, a psychotic twisted dance ballad.


In the beginning there was bass. Then some drums came along. It was good.


Do you remember Too Cool? Well, it’s back baby! 


Remixed, re-imagined and rebuilt by Mark Yorath (EQ) working with Phil Haywood and DJ Mastersafe. The three wise humans. Savants of the lowest frequencies, able to function at the dizzy pace of 175 bpm. Wizards from the Drum & Bass world breaking our bones and fusing them into grotesque new shapes.


At first we were afraid. We were petrified Thinking our poor song was broken, cast aside. And after spending nights thinking it would turn out wrong, we grew strong. We heard the bass and knew we’d get along.


Working with cool people, artists with knowledge and ideas we couldn’t even begin to comprehend: that excites us.


Mark Wise took us into a strange heartbeat-driven Techno world. Preyswitch dragged us through the icy sonic waste. Kingflame shone sunlight and joy onto our strange little tune. Now EQ has left us punctured and bruised on the dance floor and the beat rumbles on and on. We twitch. We mewl. We weep with joy.


So, ride the insanity. Roll back the carpet and take off your shoes. Feel the floor as you dance like everybody is watching and you just do not care.
